This may come as a surprise to some, but Nancy Pelosi is actually part of the Catholic church, and boy did her Archbishop had some words for her.
Salvatore J. Cordileone, the Archbishop of San Francisco, and the archbishop whose diocese encompasses Nancy Pelosi, released a letter on Saturday condemning politicians of the Catholic faith who support abortion.
The Archbishop targeted Democrats who claim they’re helping those who experience discrimination or injustice, but crush the weakest of our society, unborn children.
Not only did Cordileone condemn said Democrats, but he admonished them to refrain from taking communion, calling those who go against the teachings of the church while claiming to be Catholic, “Dishonest.”
But he didn’t stop there. Cordileone admonished Democrats that God himself had placed them in their power positions, and reminded them that they would someday have to stand in front of him to be judged.
Cordileone went on to tell Democrats to stop pretending that abortion advocation is in line with the Catholic faith, because it most certainly isn’t.
President Biden, Pelosi and other top Catholic politicians are standing in the spotlight of the Catholic church’s wrath, and could potentially face rebuke. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) will be meeting and drafting official doctrine on how to handle openly defiant politicians.
Biden has already faced rebuke from the church, with one leader telling him he should stop claiming that he’s a catholic because it creates confusion for other members.
Whatever the case may be, Biden, Pelosi and other Democrats better get their act together, because their salvation is at stake.
