China Wildly Overreacts To New COVID Probe

It seems that the Communist Chinese government is threatening nuclear war against America in response to renewed calls for a legitimate probe into COVID-19’s origins. The Global Times, a paper controlled by the Chinese Communist Party released an editorial article that states Beijing is busily preparing for a nuclear exchange with the U.S.

The article claims that China is constructing new warheads and ICBM’s to deter U.S. action. It added that the goal is to raise the number of Chinese nukes to quantities “that make U.S. elites shiver.” The current nuclear arsenal estimate sits at 6000 warheads for the U.S. and 350 for China.

The Global Times’ article was published mere days following President Biden’s announcement that a new probe would be launched into the coronaviruses origins, particularly if it leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. China denounced the renewed investigation, claiming that the entire affair is “politicized,” however, many Republicans have criticized the original investigation carried out by the World Health Organization for its lack of transparency.

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) said “the WHO mission was a joke,” adding more targeted criticisms such as claiming that the investigators “had no relevant expertise,” that the team was declined interviews with Chinese laboratory staff, and that records weren’t gathered from the Chinese run institution. He alleges that the extent of the WHO investigation was to be comfortably shown “a PowerPoint set of lies.”

Cotton called the Wuhan lab’s conduct “incompetent and negligent,” and added that China’s recent aggression signals that they probably have something to hide.

The U.S. House Intelligence Committee must provide a report on their findings within a 90 day deadline. Until then, the Global Times article warns that even a very minor incident would be enough to start a full scale war due to the perception of “a hostile attitude” on the part of the U.S.
