Biden Blasts America With Memorial Day Tweets, Forgets One Crucial Thing

Both President Biden and Vice President Harris have come under scrutiny for their Saturday messages they shared on Twitter about Memorial day, failing entirely to mention the fallen soldiers which the holiday honors.

“Stay cool this weekend, folks,” Biden casually tweeted alongside a photo of himself speaking with a young woman.

Vice President Harris fell under criticism for a merrymaking tweet of her smiling countenance paired with the moving message, “Enjoy the long weekend.”

Florida Sen. Rick Scott reacted to the tweet, calling it “insulting.”

Still others went after Harris for failing to mention those who lost their lives in the name of this country.

The first Memorial Day was observed on May 30, 1868 honoring the deceased of the Civil war. It was known back then as Decoration Day. In 1971, Congress issued a Uniform Monday Holiday Act, prescribing that Memorial day should always be on the last Monday in May.

God bless our troops.
